It’s the world’s most celebrated dance event. Over two thousand of the world’s best dancers will come together in Las Vegas for the 2013 World Hip Hop Dance Championship August 6 – 11, an event true to the real values of hip hop culture. Crews and MegaCrews from 35-40 nations will compete to capture the world title and international bragging rights while hip hop icons, artists and celebrities will be there too for all the fun and excitement.



The six-day event schedule includes panel discussions featuring respected living legends and icons of hip hop dance, the Chill Down Lounge for dancing after the evening competitions have concluded, the presentation of the Living Legend of Hip Hop Award and the Urban Moves dance workshops presented by the most celebrated hip hop dancers and choreographers. Above all, street dancers meet others from around the world equally passionate about hip hop culture and dance.

The World Hip Hop Dance Championship and World Battles will be conducted under the official rules and regulations of Hip Hop International – see rules and regulations.





How to Enter


National qualifications within each HHI affiliated country (see WORLD AFFILIATES) are conducted annually to determine who participates in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship and World Battles. Dance crews, MegaCrews, Bboys, Poppers, Lockers and All Stylers from countries with no qualifying event may contact Hip Hop International to request a special invitation to participate.
